Glass

Left unprotected, the Florida sun will cause your artwork to fade over time. We only use UV-filtering glass and acrylic, among other conservation materials, to safeguard your art. Glazing not only protects from sunlight, but from dirt, smoke, humidity dust, spilt liquids, oil from your skin, insects, and more. We offer three types of Tru Vue® glass depending on your needs, in order of good, better, best:

Conservation Clear® Glass - 99% UV Protected - Ideal for rooms with direct sunlight or high light (will show glare).

Ultra Vue® UV 70 Glass - 70% UV Protection/Anti-Reflective - Ideal for rooms with low light or indirect sunlight.

Museum Glass® - 99% UV Protection/Anti-Reflective - Ideal for rooms with direct sun, high light or low light

Acrylic

Glass may not always be the best option for your framing project. If art will be touching or pressing up against the surface, or if your project is over-sized and weight must be taken into consideration, acrylic is the best choice. Many art galleries and museums have also been known to use acrylic instead of glass in order to prevent accidents. The material is lightweight, shatter-resistant, and offers UV protection. We offer two different types of Tru Vue® acrylic depending on your needs:

Conservation Clear® Acrylic - 99% UV Protection/Shatter Resistant (will show glare).

Optium Acrylic® - 99% UV Protection/Shatter Resistant/Anti-Reflective/Abrasion Resistant/Anti-Static.
